Unless otherwise noted on the item page, item conditions mean the following:

New

Brand new item sealed in original manufacturer packaging.

Used

Used items in all conditions are in working order and include batteries. Hard slide cover is typically included if calculator normally comes with one; soft cases, manuals, cables, software, and other accessories are typically not included.

Used - Good

Good condition items may have scratches, minor dents, markings, missing feet, and other signs of use, but should not have issues that interfere with normal operation or have abnormally extensive cosmetic damage (e.g. much of the unit is painted, significantly worn keys, display issues, etc.)

Used - Acceptable

Acceptable items may have substantially larger cosmetic imperfections and marks and may have more of them. They will not have issues that interfere with use.

Used - Very Good

Very Good items will have very minor cosmetic imperfections and small signs of use.

Used - Like New

Like New items will show few if any signs of use and/or are customer returns of new items without noticeable blemishes.

Budget

Budget units have minor functional defects that do not prevent use such as minor dark spots, a few lines of missing pixels, significant screen scratches, etc. The specific issue will be stated in the condition - for example, Budget - Dark Spot - and will usually be detailed further on the page. These items will be in Acceptable or better cosmetic condition unless otherwise described. Hard slide cover might not be included.

Defective

Defective units do not function or require significant adjustments to use. They are generally being sold for Parts or Repair or for those familiar with the flaw and willing to work around it. The specific defect will be stated in the condition - for example, Defective - No On - and will usually be detailed further on the page. These items may be in any cosmetic condition, might not include batteries or slide covers, and might be missing parts - check item page for details.
